We thought we’d better kick things off on our blog with a little information on who we are and what we do! As you’re on our site, we’re assuming you know that we are ‘the small business fulfilment specialists’, but what exactly does that mean?
Whether you’re a small e-commerce business in the process of growth, or an established medium-sized online retailer, we are the flexible service that can take care of all your fulfilment and storage needs. Not only do we have years of experience under our belt running our own online retail business, we also have a knowledgeable warehouse team who can work to any brief. Meaning that we’re able to offer bespoke solutions to a variety of businesses, all at competitive prices.

In the past, when sourcing third-party fulfilment for our own e-commerce business, Silver Mushroom, we found it incredibly difficult to wave goodbye to our stock after years of running our own in-house operation. We understand your feelings surrounding the pain of the handover, and the nerves that come with it. Without further ado, we’d like you to meet our core people.
The heart and soul of the operation, Rebecca, is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CK Fulfilment. Rebecca had been running her own online retail business for almost 10 years when she suddenly had to drastically size-up her operation, as a result of rocketing sales due to the lockdown in 2020. Taking the skills and experience she gained during this time, Rebecca partnered with our Operations Director, Tony, and together they founded CK Fulfilment.
Rebecca’s primary focus is the success of each of our clients’ growing businesses, as well as their peace of mind regarding their partnership with CK. Having previously made the move to a third-party fulfilment company with Silver Mushroom, she has gained invaluable knowledge and experience. She understands how it feels to be in a client’s shoes, and is well positioned to understand their goals, their concerns and their overall needs. Rebecca welcomes all small to medium business owners into our company with a smile, and promises a smooth sailing partnership, packed with excitement as the CK team assist in taking their business to the next level.
With over 40 years of warehousing experience, we like to think there is nothing Tony does not know about operations and logistics. Tony has worked in some of the largest organisations in the UK, as well as some smaller, more niche companies. Tony prides himself on thinking outside of the box, coming up with innovative solutions to problems and working closely with clients to tailor our services to their specific needs.
Tony’s main goal at CK Fulfilment is ensuring that every step of our overall operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He oversees everything from the mapping of our warehouse to the efficiency of our staff processes to ensure we’re on the ball every step of the way. Whether you’re business is a start-up or an established enterprise, Tony has the experience and business skills to guide you in the right direction.
Our packing stage team leaders, father and son duo, David and Will have worked in warehousing for over a decade. Let us tell you, there is nothing they cannot pack.
After packing countless fragile, bulky and generally awkward homeware parcels for our e-commerce business, they are seasoned professionals when it comes to careful, efficient packaging. When entrusting your stock to a fulfilment partner, it’s vital that you have peace of mind that your customer orders are being packed swiftly, efficiently and with care and precision. After all, happy customers are a key element of any successful business.
Our creative department handle all of our CK branding and marketing activity. They are on the ball with all current trends, be that in branded packaging for our clients, social media marketing or designing branded leaflets to pop in our parcels.
Poppy heads up our V.A.S department, she takes care of all stock reworks as well as product kitting and assembly. No matter what your goods need, whether that’s re-labelling, packaging beautifully in presentation boxes, barcoding or even if you offer a subscription service that needs assembling together, Poppy will work her organisational magic and have your goods retail ready in no time.
Our friendly Operational Support team is headed up by Gwen and Hilary. They are dedicated to ensuring our client partnerships are transparent and smooth sailing. With years of client facing experience, our Operational Support team are always at the other end of the phone ready to assist with any queries you may have.
